My name is Andra Kee, even though I probably won’t respond unless you call me Annie. I am a seminary student and a youth pastor. In 2013, I graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Youth and Family Ministry and a minor in Christian Education.
I blog about my life, which means you’ll find a random assortment of posts about church, youth ministry, post-grad life, and my experiences. I also write book reviews.
Want to know a little about me? I love to use hashtags seriously and ironically. My absolute favorite smell is the smell of newspapers. I refuse to write with any pen unless it is a Sharpie pen. I enjoy cooking and baking and trying new recipes, even if I fail. I take coffee with my oxygen, it basically sustains me. I have an unhealthy love of shoes. My favorite color is apple green. I have had the back of my head stapled before. I mediocrely play the guitar and flute. I enjoy all pumpkin-flavored things, especially Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks. I would like to die laughing.
Most of all, I struggle. I always try to be honest. Christ saved my life. I always try to remember that it is in Him that I find my worth. I want to live every day in light of the fact that I am closer to death than I ever have been. I want to be like Christ, who commanded us to love the Lord and love our neighbors.
So, this is my blog. It is basically like someone cut me open and is video-taping my insides 24-7. Actually, that’s not at all what it is like, but it is my honesty, which is almost the same. It is my frustrations and my struggles. It is my joys and victories. It is me, metaphorically naked before the whole internet. And that’s my way of saying, “Welcome to my blog.”
Let’s share some ice cream or coffee (I love both), and let’s enter this journey together.
